A (Free) Book Review Template because I obsessively collect useless data
For your inner obsessive librarian but make it ✨aesthetic✨ | Downloadable digital / junk journal page for book reviews
Let’s keep today’s letter short and sweet!
We’re all about the soft, slow, sweet, and simple life here at Nookery Notes (™ pending), and while it’s been fun bashing modern romance and figuring out how to use social media to actually be social, today I’m taking a quick left turn into more solitary territory:
Book reviews.
Yes, I would like to become someone who reviews books with aesthetic visuals and highly subjective opinions. Let me live.
Now, I’ve always been a fan of journaling - bullet, junk, gratitude - the whole kit and kaboodle.
But digital journaling’s got range.
She’s editable, duplicable, and she never runs out of washi tape. God bless.
So when I found some adorable book review pages floating around Pinterest (because of course), I thought, why not make my own version? Something cute, cozy, and usable by anyone?
✨And that’s how this book review template was born.✨
You can customize and download it via this Canva template link, or just right-click the image below and ‘Save As’.

How to Use:
Book Cover Frame - Pop in the book cover in the upper left corner. Canva makes it easy, but you’re welcome to do it manually if that’s your jam.
Book Info - Fill in the title, author, and other vitals in the top right.
Rating - Rate out of five stars. Fill in the little heart if the book is one of your all-time favourites.
Recommend This Book? - Shade in the very official yes/no answer. No overthinking.
Thoughts & Feelings - Rant, gush, take notes mid-read, or just drop one poetic line and call it a day. Your journal = your rules.
Analysis - Be honest. Be petty. Be your own Goodreads review section.
And that’s it!
You’ll probably see this template again when I start posting my own reviews, but for now, I hope it inspires your inner cozy critic.
Go forth and annotate ✍️
God bless your day,
💛 from Nookery Notes
